I am a freelance writer, editor, and proofreader who works in numerous mediums to help clients better express their ideas and keep their readers engaged. Due to my experience with both copy and creative projects, my writing is concise and has a strong narrative flow. In addition to presenting ideas and information clearly and cleanly, I am a skilled creator of compelling text that makes the reader want to read on.

About Me

I have many years experience writing and editing for numerous mediums and am equally adept at working with copy and more creative projects. I received my Bachelors of Arts in English Literature and the Humanities from Simon Fraser University. I am fascinated by language, and the different ways that words, grammar, and punctuation combine to produce meaning. In addition, I adore exploring narrative, and have written a wide variety of stories and scripts. I currently serve on the board for Cloudscape Comics, a local society of comic book makers who produce yearly anthologies along with other forms of graphic novel storytelling.

Among my various projects, I have:

• Created and edited copy for clients of Personae Concepts, a Vancouver communications company. www.personae.ca

• Scripted a one-page comic strip advertisement for STUD underwear.
• Written stories for Cloudscape's graphic novel anthologies
